The Hates is THE punk band from Houston, Texas, USA. Formed in 1978 by Christian Kidd (formerly known as Christian Arnheiter), originally under the name of Hiroshima Barbecue, Zyklon B, Guyana Boys Choir, and Christian Oppression. The group is currently still active and recording with Christian on guitar and vocals, Will Cheadle on bass and backing vocals, and Colin Wooten on drums and backing vocals.

This Italian compilation collects many of the bands first singles which are hard to find from between 1979 and 1987
