M Blanket was an scruffy, melodic-punk band from from Victoria, BC, Canada that was formed by Dave Wenger (Daddy's Hands and Ache Hour Credo). They released two 7"s titled "Seen it Coming" (STB 002) and "Safety" (STB 006) both released by Slow to Burn Records. Unfortunately, we lost Dave on November 23, 2006 when he was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Montreal. They were active from 1992-1995.
This band was incredible and completely overlooked. The intense punk energy akin to Operation Ivy or Crimpshrine or early Propagandhi. Anthemic introspective/political lyrics with infectious melodies. Recommended!!
