From the ashes of the two Houston bands, Tantalum and Dream Shake, came Evokation. Heavily influenced by early 80's thrash metal, guitarist Mikey Tehrani of Tantalum and Dream Shake, pieced together Evokation with ex-bandmates. Essentially taking the rhythm section (Frank Faerman and Matt Juarez) of previous project Dream Shake, he added guitarist Matt Burnette (Gyste/PLF) and Alice Lima Lovchick (Tantalum) on vocals. Twelve tracks of speed and fury with no song passing the three minute mark and a cover of Slayer's "Piece By Piece" to boot. This cassette version is limited to 50 copies from our good friends at Cryptic Carousel.
